The first few weeks at home are exhilarating yet challenging as your family goes through this transitional time.
My first priority is to ensure that the new mother is rested and relaxed, and to assist her with feeding and nurturing her baby.
I bring lots of love to the new family, and try to lighten the load that new mums inevitably feel. I am experienced with multiples, preemies and special needs babies so I can help your family get off to a great start whatever your unique situation might be.
My Postnatal services are personalized to meet your family’s specific needs. Please contact me for more information and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Services may include but are not limited to:
I can help mother and baby with breastfeeding basics such as proper positioning and latch, how to know if baby is getting enough, answer breastfeeding questions, as well as problem-solve when necessary. For issues beyond a doula's scope of practice, referrals will be made to lactation consultants or healthcare professionals.
I can care for your baby while you get some rest, take a shower, spend some quality one on one time with your other children, catch up with friends and relatives, take time to nurture yourself. I can help with baby soothing skills, bathing & changing, and assistance with multiples.
I can provide overnight support to help combat sleep deprivation!
